How does Zalgo Text work?
Many people think Zalgo text is a "hack" or a bug. It is actually a feature of Unicode called "Combining Diacritical Marks."
In normal typing, one character takes up one space (e.g., "A"). However, Unicode allows you to add special marks that "stack" on top of or below a letter without moving the cursor forward. Zalgo.me automates this process, stacking up to 50 of these marks on a single letter to create the chaotic "glitch" effect.
The History of "He Comes"
The term "Zalgo" originated from a 2004 internet meme involving modified Archie comics and cryptic "corrupted" text. It became synonymous with digital horror and creepypastas.
Today, it is widely used in gaming culture (Among Us, Minecraft, Roblox), Discord servers, and social media bios to grab attention or create an "aesthetic" profile.
